Michelle Kretchmer
Office Manager and Marketing Coordinator
Michelle ensures that everything behind the scenes at NeigerDesign runs smoothly. She manages the office and client projects while keeping her mind on the big picture and her eye on the details. Her role includes marketing strategy and support, including project management, media strategy, copywriting and program tracking/analyses.
Michelle’s previous experience includes various management and marketing roles at Ogilvy & Mather Direct, Leo Burnett Advertising and Kemper Financial Services, Inc. She has also held various Board and Chair positions with local PTAs and the YMCA.
Michelle graduated magna cum laude from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and German.
Inspiration
My children. They keep me on my game to be a good role model, and I learn through their ever-changing perspectives, as well.

Life Changer
When I was 17, I was an exchange student in Austria. I didn’t know a word of German when I arrived, and lived with a family who spoke little English. But I didn’t let that get in the way — I learned German quickly through the “sink or swim” method.
Amusement
I like to be with my family, whether we’re on the road or just hanging out. There’s often music involved with our free time — everything from oldies, jazz and pop, to opera. I’ve also travelled to 49 of the 50 states, so I’m looking forward to seeing Alaska some day to round out the list.
Unexpected Experience
When I was younger, my family was travelling through Independence, MO, when we stopped into a local grocery store — and met Bess and Harry Truman!
