Downtown Evanston (formally Evmark) is a 501(c) (6) non-profit corporation charged with developing programs to foster business growth and development within downtown Evanston. The goal of the website was to position Downtown Evanston as the premier destination for residents of the North Shore and Chicago’s North Side; and as the location of choice for new and relocating businesses. The website was built on a content management system (CMS) which allows Downtown Evanston staff to keep the site current with businesses news and events.
