When most people think of a brand, they don’t just think of a company’s logo. They think of their own experiences with your company, your company’s image in the news and media, and the overall perceived quality of your goods and services. With the world growing more interconnected each day, managing your brand has become a critical element to your company’s success.
Unlike many design and branding firms in Chicago, we base all of our branding, strategy and design elements for your organization on extensive research and planning. We don’t just create a simple logo. Whether it’s a new branding effort or a rebranding campaign, we take all of the elements that make you unique into consideration. We dig deep into your company, your products and services, your existing image, your industry, your industry’s image, your customers and potential customers, and current trends, dissecting them and pulling together their core components. Then, using this information as the bedrock of our design, we create branding that addresses each of those elements. From printed materials to your website, social media platforms and customer portals, we help you ensure that your branding is consistent, targeted, and effective.
The result is a controlled, professional, unmatched level of brand awareness that ties together every element of your business. For more information on how NeigerDesign can help you increase your brand's awareness, value and messaging, contact us today.
Anixter Center is the largest not-for-profit community-based rehabilitation agency in Illinois. After 90 years in operation and several mergers, Anixter Center was ripe for a new, meaningful, on-target, and powerful brand. NeigerDesign helped Anixter Center by conducting focus groups and surveys that included an opportunity for all employees, funders and board members to participate. The results were used in the development of their new brand that is based on a kite. A kite flies and needs support to reach its highest potential – to soar! The kite is comprised of triangles whose colors represent the broad array of services available at Anixter Center. A star emerges from the kite to symbolize the ability in each of us to reach our fullest potential.
Witt/Kieffer, the nation's largest executive search firm that specializes in healthcare, education and not-for-profit sectors, asked NDI to conduct a communications audit as an initial step to unify their communication materials to align with their strategic plan.
As a result of our findings we recommended creating a graphic family look and communications standards that bridged all Witt/Kieffer materials. We created document templates and usage guides that allowed internal and external creative resources to plug into the system and maintain the brand identity.

Norman J. Pressman has an ever-present hope for a better world. He imagines the world having unrestricted access to an excellent education, universal access to affordable healthcare, hunger being eliminated, each person having a home, each family being valued and worldwide freedom and peace to name just a few. To kick off this vision, he approached NeigerDesign to create a brand mark for this not-for-profit foundation, Imagine a Better World Foundation. The calligraphic treatment of the word “imagine” within the simple brackets symbolizing the “world,” represents the personal touch that each of us is capable of contributing to this vision in some way. NeigerDesign has developed web and print application for this brand.
The Dr. Ellen G. Pressman Charter School of Plainfield, New Jersey provides a middle school learning environment, which integrates music with academic excellence. The logomark NeigerDesign created contains a music staff and notes to represent the school’s unique platform for academic growth. The e and p of the school’s name are subtly hidden within the logo. NeigerDesign applied this new mark to the school’s website and print materials.
VOR unites people in advocacy in order to educate and assist families, organizations, public officials, and individuals concerned with the quality of life and choice for persons with mental retardation within residential options. NeigerDesign helped with VOR rebranding, enhancing a name change from the full name they have been using for 25 years to an acronym. The use of the bright orange repeat pattern of semi circles for the “O” in “VOR,” also represents “speaking out,” or “advocacy” on behalf of individuals with mental retardation. This brand was applied through all corporate elements such as stationery, website and signage.
The American Board of Medical Specialties oversees 24 medical specialty boards in the development and use of standards in the ongoing evaluation and certification of physicians in Board Certification and Maintenance Of Certification.
Our objective was to create awareness of ABMS as the standard-bearer and Board Certification as the “gold standard” of quality medical care. NDI worked with ABMS to brand their certification process and launch its “Certification Matters” campaign. The integrated campaign, based on a detailed communication strategy, targets multiple audiences including the public, physicians, specialty boards, credentialiers, and other healthcare organizations. Multiple communication vehicles are employed to drive this strategy including a turnkey web-based publishing toolkit allowing the Member Boards to customize direct mail, ads and information brochures.
