Junior Graphic Designer
Originally from Mumbai, India, Rutu specializes in branding, editorial design, book design, Communication design, UI/UX, calligraphy, and typography. He earned his B.F.A in Applied Arts at Rachana Sansad College in Mumbai, India and his M.A. in Graphic Design at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. A resourceful designer, he comes up with divergent design solutions, communicates information effectively, and injects emotions into his work in ways that are conventional and unconventional.
I strongly believe that creative design changes people’s perspectives and perceptions of the world, which is what we do here at NeigerDesign!
Creative Expression
I’m a calligrapher and enjoy exploring new styles, tools, and mediums. For me, it is not only beautiful handwriting, but it is an inspiration, meditation, dedication, and application. The thought and concept behind every stroke makes it amazing. My journey with calligraphy started with my father Achyut Palav. I’m privileged to be his son and to learn calligraphy from him. I grew up seeing him perform calligraphy and his skill, techniques, tools, and ease in which he performs has always mesmerized me.
Philosophy
I strongly believe that design will change the perspective of people and how they perceive the world.
